Forgive me for being mean but seriously, That's no sleeper. I like to define a car that is way faster than average car a stock appearence. That bucket of rust and bolts don't fit the bill. It's just a 1.6 with ITB's. Which means that half of the members on here will walk you without having a motor swap. I'm almost willing to bet my bone stock Protege will walk all over that. I'd change the title of the post. Seriously.

To me the definition of a sleeper is a car that looks like sh!t from the outside but the powerplant of the car is something you wouldn't expect from its exterior characteristics.

So I beg to differ. Who cares if x-car is faster than y-car? As long as you love your ride the way it is, who gives a damn?

oh yea- bad ass AE86 man, I've driven a 4AGZE hatch and a redtop ITB'd coupe and the coupe was surprisingly more fun and stable than the hatch Hachi.

I don't think 90% of IA will ever get to experience hi-comp bluetop/redtop 4AGE w/ ITB or even a 4AGZE in an AE86.

scary as sh!t in a car that weighs < a ton. especially with skinny tires on 14's and open diff LOL

they won't ever understand why Hachi owners do what they do. don't listen to any of that BS, as long as you drive the Hachi the way it was supposed to, keep on keepin on bro

oh.....i forgot to mention........IT'S BEEN STITCHED WELDED FROM FRONT TO BACK. look at the interior and engine bay pics. one of the reasons why i bought it. but yeah i had a coupe gts as my 1st corolla and it feels really more stable than hachi's....but hachi's are legendary

i actually bought it. i sold my other car to someone here on IA and used the money to buy john's car. dude i swear, its scary to drive it. i dont even want to touch 8k even though tis set up to rev up to 9.5k......just revving it up to 7k on 2nd gear feels like im gonna fly. quick as a mofo. credits to john.

Okay....just an observation from the video....so the car is able to hit the high rev's....but take a look at the speedo....making alot of noise and not going anywhere too fast...I mean, is this setup just making lots of torque for the drifterz?
