well that was just going in a straight line...Originally Posted by AznTraitor
again, the real purpose of the setup is for cornering
why does the S2000 have a 9k redline?
because at 5252 rpm is when the crossover point for hp matters more than torque
also the 4AGE has TVIS which is equivalent to VTAK POWA

drifting buddy, drifting.....not drag racing that requires Pre-K skills to step on the gas all the way

if you GUYS are still confused at why 5252 is significant,
power (hp) = torque (lb*ft) X RPM/5252
torque (lb*ft) power (hp) X 5252/RPM
if you look at a constant torque curve and a constant power curve, both will intersect at 5252 RPM in which power (hp) will always exceed torque, concluding that higher engine speeds (such as at 9k rpm) take advantage of greater volumetric efficiencies
also, if geared correctly, it will allow the driver to stay in a single gear while cornering as opposed to having the shift while steering

I'm not knockin on drag racing either, but then again I've also never launched a 400+ rwhp carOriginally Posted by AznTraitor
but one can say the same if you've never slid a 160 rwhp car that weighs ~1800 lbs.

nice vid but people will still argue about Tsuchiya's TRD engine/susp. setup vs. Fast Beat ITR engine/susp. setup etc. etc.Originally Posted by imbatman
both are nice vehicles, but still considered 'slow' for most
I like how DoriDori drifts into the dirt in the 2nd lap lol
what i noticed most was how ****ty the tegs suspension setup looked compared to the rolla... That **** looked like it was on bags when he hopped that rumble strip.Originally Posted by D.Choe

j/k
i hope that the video showed everything that u should know about the difference of other cars and AE86. period.

exactly, I think the ITR susp. seemed too soft for that course and there seemed to be a lot of body roll going onOriginally Posted by Bruce Leroy
if the susp. setup was better I'm sure it would've been a more even and more exciting race
Man just remove the wheels and put something nice. That combo just makes me shive thinking you slide with that.

im sorry, but an ae86 is NOT that great of a car. for the money, sure. actually i take that back because those little ****boxes are expensive as ****. they are SLOOOOOOOW, especially in stock form. they are money pits for the most part, kinda ugly, and just all around are decent at best but only due to the potential.
for the money though, there is MUCH better cars available.

How fast is it? I wonder if m 7 could run it. It's also a little bit of a sleeper. Nothing too impressive, but much quicker than stock.
^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle
no hate, i like the cars alot when done right.Originally Posted by imbatman
