I don't know about that, LSU is pretty far down in the BCS.
For them to jump like 3 idle teams just by beating the 13th team in the BCS sounds like a longshot.

your right it was 03 they lost their conference title to kansas state but they were undefeated til then and had a strong hold on the no 2 spot in the BCS.

yeah, i was on edge...to say the least. really we should have won in regulation anyway. we dropped two interceptions on kentucky's last drive.
yeah but kentucky had alot of shots to end the game as well...it took a WHILE for there QB to start playing football lol Tennessee was the better team no doubt though. Kinda like UGA vs. GT. there were several calls that went to UGA that game and helped the score even more, but they would have won regaurdless..better team..Tennessee deserves to be in the SEC Championship, you won't hear me gripe about that. Im looking forward to next season though. Both teams will be very good. Which if you think about it, is the beauty of the SEC, every year it's something new. ESPECIALLY this year. I thought the dawgs were going to be awful, UT was going to be amazing, and USC as well..i though UF would suck too...everything played out very well. It was a really exciting season, which just goes to show that the SEC is the hardest/best/most fun conference to watch in college football.
This info all came from an ESPN Bowl Analylst so idk. I'm pretty sure being ranked higher in the BCS would have a bigger advantage to who is seated for the National title. Also, i'm well aware this outcome will never happen.....I'm pulling for ASU vs UGA in the Rose bowl.....My 2 teams against easchother would be ****ing crazy

They should be #1 just like USC, LSU, ARIZONA, OREGON, FLA, OSU, BC, and USF. This season is all about losing in the top five at the right time and since we lost late in the season no hope for the title. All those teams losing when they did is the only reason UGA is where its at. UGA FTL.and Colorado

Thats funny, hopefully you guys can get in national championship game in the next ten years. Playoffs wont happen because bowl games bring in a lot of money and there would be to many injured players. lol i'm not mad about anything it was a hell of a game, still only the third time in 17 years so why would i be mad? I would like georgia to make it and win it just because they are in the sec and it would be great for the sec to win two in a row to shut up all the ****ing dumbass people who say the sec isn't the best conference out there. Hell we beat last years Champions, the team that beat the national champions this year and last year, and the team that beat the long standing #1 seat LSU
