    I don't know about that, LSU is pretty far down in the BCS.

    For them to jump like 3 idle teams just by beating the 13th team in the BCS sounds like a longshot.

    not really because they will be winning their conference title. when is the last time a non-conference title winner played in a national championship game?

    Was it 2003 or 2004? When Oklahoma played USC....

    your right it was 03 they lost their conference title to kansas state but they were undefeated til then and had a strong hold on the no 2 spot in the BCS.
