    Default Tires Dismount/Mount

Anyone know of a shop that can cater to my civic? I took it to Butler to put the new Dunlop tires on that Dunlop sent me, and I spoke with the manager up at the Alpharetta location a few weeks earlier and he looked at the car and gave me a price of $150 so I took it there Friday and after my wife brought the tires earlier that day and I drove out there, he says they cant do it because my car is to low. So if Butler cant do this stuff, who can I take the car to?

If you are in alpharetta area try America's Best automotive, It near the ferrari dealership right across from the Auto Brite carwash, There was always an aston martin or ferrari when my car was up there.

Another place is perfect performance, It's off HWY 9 headed towards roswell. They do good work too and I'm pretty sure that they can do what you want. When i was getting my alignment, I believe that they put some 20's on a gallardo.

The height of my car seems to be what the issue is, but what do you charge for a dismount and mount of new tires?

from what i've seen.. most discount tires will charge $1/inch.

so if you have 17" wheels.. it will cost $17 to dismount... and another $17 to mount. its a bloody rip off.

I went to Kaufmann in Alpharetta on Winward, they took great care of the car. They had a full inground system

most places use frame lifts...the ones with the four square pads raising the car to waist height. You can't drive up on them with low front bumpers and/or can't use them with certain side skirts. Then probably against policy to solely use floor jacks, not to mention can't jack the rear up without bottoming out the front bumper. Lowered cars can be a PITA, that's why i'm putting air jacks on my next car

Gran Turismo East in Chamblee could do it.
Kaufmann down off Cheshire Bridge could do it.
Rockwell Automotive off Jimmy Carter could do it.

thats why you buy the tires from us... and no rip-off.. see, you profit another company. so we have to profit then on labor.. we normally charge $11 a rim to mount, balance, flat repairs, & roto for the life of the tires, as to where the $1 an inch is for a one time deal.. i mean if you get them dirt cheap somewhere.. bring that quote in.. and not from EBAY, and well match or beat it! we wont rip you off since we dont make comission.. whe would it matter to us?!? so holla at Dsicount in D'ville at 6788380159..stephen's the name.. if not me..ask for John...

btw to not mess up lowered cars.. unless your car is lower than a true inch off the ground, well do it.. we got low-jacks that are quite handy!

Douglasville!? wow, anything closer to Gwinnet County? I just swapped tire sponsors, and I need a place to install. All my sponsors stayed in California when I moved. Need tire mount sponsor here. Need to mount a new set of tires on by DUB show this weekend.

    Some pictures of my car:
