my car is lowered on the other three wheels. I dont think its safe to drive around with all three wheels lowered and one that is stock height with messed up bolt..

    same thing happened to me.

had to take a heat gun and melt the bushing down to push bushing and bolt out, cause the sleeve the bolt threaded into kept spinning too..

made a new bushing and never really had a problem the year I had the car.

    Yep.

And if the nut comes off the remnants of the bolt, get a BFH and a punch and knock it through.

the first pictiure is a welded on nut, you cant unloosen it or anything. It's welded onto the stock strut so the bolt can get screwed into it..

Oh. I see the predicament now.

Unless you have access to an easy out and have some mad drilling skills...I'm not sure what to tell you, besides heating the hell out of that welded-on nut, breaking it off, and replacing the whole thing with a standard bolt/nut.

Most every remedy to something like this comes back to extreme heat and hammers of varous sizes.

yeah, break the nut off and use a regular nut/bolt. Do you have any access to air tools? could probably knock it off in a few minutes if so.

well that sucks...go buy new aftermarket struts then since you'll need them anyway for that lowered suspension

take of the other 2 bolts and undo your suspention, take the whole thing out set it down and start drilling...go get 3 bits at least...then go to honda and get the specific bolt you need for 12 bucks, those bolts are made for that particularl(sp) app. it has grooves in it so that it doesn't lock up on you like it is now(it mates with the bushing and tears it apart so you will need a new bushing as well...I had to do this minus the drilling part.

if you have a small drill bit and you can get in there with it, drill it out.

Jesus Christ! You guys... goto Advanced Auto ask for an easy out/screw-bolt extractor kit. They're 24-26$... Get a Cobalt dipped drill bit and this kit. It's the right way to take the bolt out. Here's on on the net for $20. http://www.costplustools.com/store-p..._35273257.html

I told ya when you picked it up to take it to a muffler shop and get someone who knows what they are doing with a torch to get it out for ya. Shouldnt have took 15 minutes tops with a skilled guy at the controls. If I had a torch over here I wouldve done it for ya. Wouldve been alot easier to do it before you installed it in the car bro.
