Default The Tremor 1997 Nissan Hardbody Pickup

Ok guys i figured i'd post up some pics of my Nissan pickup. I just about done with it so far.

    1997 Nissan D21 Hardbody Pickup

Mods: Lowered 4 inches all the way around, cadillac escalade 17 inch wheels, LED tail lights, shaved tailgate handle and antenna, 92-95 Toyota 4x4 pickup front bumper and valence. With new paint, painted by me this is my very first paint job doing all the work by myself.

Oh and the most important CA18DET 180sx Silvia swap.

I know you guys may say why not the SR20DET swap? To many people has done them i wanted to do something different.

In a couple of months i'm going to install a new rear end out of a nissan 4x4 that has LSD and a gear ratio that better for the CA swap and a T3/T4 top mount turbo set up, 550cc injectors, N60 MAFS, light weight flywheel and stage 3 clutch. Hopeing to get around 250-300whp out of her.

Sick. Absolute sickness. Clean and purpose built, the two most important thing.

Still my favorite hardbody of all time. GOD I love this truck.

Lemme know when you get that rear end in there! That thing is gonna outrun my 240 if I don't step my game up.

Sweet truck and great ideas on mods!

Not a huge fan of the ultra low profile tires though, I'd get a set of the graphite 7 spoke frontier wheels with a decent tire on it for the days you really wanted to drive the truck!

Konig makes a decent wheel for it too that people tend to put on the old datsun pickups.

There was a set of Nismo truck wheels (TE37 style) floating around central GA for awhile. My friend had them on his white King Cab, but he sold them for maybe 20% of their value, and didn't even bother to tell me. They were bronze, too.

GP Nissan? Dunno which one that is. The wheels were originally on an XTerra, and I believe he worked at Walsh Nissan in Macon, and then they ended up in my friend's hands, and on his old King Cab. No clue where they went after that.

Double-walled bed on the Nissan pickup (D21) from 1986.5 to 1997.

(The model before it was the Datsun 720 and during the 1985-1986.5 production it also had the double walled bed.)

    Thanks everybody for the props.

Right now everything is stock. It gets a nasty wheel (one wheel pill LOL) first and second after that it's a little slunggish because of the 3.5 rear end ratio. Did some homework and found out that the cars that came with CA's had a 4.3 rear end ratio from the factory.

So i did some digging and found out that a nissan 4x4 V6 5 speed has a 4.3 ratio rear end and has LSD. So i found one last week in a pick n pull and picked it up for da $60 bux! After putting in the rear end and putting the t3/t4 turbo set up on it and getting it tuned hopefully looking to get 250-300whp at of it with about 15psi of boost. I think that would be good enough for DD with p/s and a/c.

    gewd freaking lord...

yea let me know about that when u get it tuned and such w/ the 15psi, the 1jz offers 280hp stock...so let me know what you doing as far as that then lol.

but i hear u on the one wheel motion man, but sticking 18s on mine stopped that lol
