Yes, he was wrong for selling pistons for a friend without personally looking at them. Yes, you are wrong for not doing anything to try and get your money back like filing a claim with paypal or calling the number he gave you numerous times to try and resolve the situation with the person that actually has your money. The bottom line is that you both fucked up.
