Don't even bother wasting your time with this guy.

I talked to him about trading my hatchback for his coupe Thursday night on AIM. He said he wanted to check it out for himself before he made any decisions. (that's fine with me) He said he didn't have any free time to meet up with me until Sunday. That worked for me, although i had to change my schedule around to meet it.

Talked to him Saturday afternoon and he assured me that we would meet up Sunday; he had "all day off, whenever i wanted to meet was cool with him." Sunday rolls around and after trying to contact this guy "steve" I decide he's probably out of service and I head up to Atlanta from Columbus. (mistake on my part)

I get to Newnan and he still does not answer his phone. I decide to chill, head up to Scotty's machine shop for a bit and spend the afternoon in Peachtree City hangin out. I attempt to contact him on AIM while i was there, and he did not respond. I sent him a PM, no response. Left five missed calls and three messages, no response.

I finally get home and send him a PM asking why he didn't show....

not to bust in on all your shit, ive just been reading over everything. im not choosing side, just trying to help resolve this. first, swolldude says his convo. was changed. i have look over everytime this guy has said.

in this convo you can see that his accually used proper english by spelling everything right and correct usage of punctuation and capatalizes most letters that need to be except one. it is very easy to change any convo on a computer. by looking over many posts swolldude has put up, i have never seen him use this correct english.

hatch77 - if you talked to this guy recently on AIM, it saves your convos. so lets see both convos on when you two were suppose to meet up and when you arrived home and talked to him of why he did not show up.

go to my documents, and then one of the first icons should be filelib. click on that and convos should be in there.

again, i am not choosing sides, just been reading up and am trying to help out.

hey thanks for lookin into it for me. i honestly have no clue what is going on with this. i asked him for the details on the hatch and told him 1st off im not really into hatches but more details. he asked me if he could meet up to see it and i told him maybe on sunday since it is my only day off key word being maybe. he kept asking me and i had his number and i said if i wanted to meet up i would call him. i never once made ANY arrangement to see his car. he sent me pics and that was good enough for me to make my decision. i really dont know what else they want me to do. i havent had any problems with people on this site before so i really have no clue. thanks for looking into though. - steve

yo i was with 1swolldude (steve) all day sunday from about 11AM to 5PM lookin at houses to rent in kennasaw/ Acworth and his phone never rang. that guy could have called or what not but it didnt reach his phone. I checked my IM logging, and there are no files in the folder that was specified. I am 100% positive that is what he posted on AIM, as i copied and pasted straight from the window.

Here are some facts or points to think about:

1)Why on earth would i waste my time and drive up to Newnan if i didn't think something would come of it.

2)Why would i not call Steve repeatedly at the number he provided in his FS thread when he failed to show?

3)Why would he not respond to IMs or PMs I sent him when i saw he was online while i was up there waiting?

4)Why would i waste my time writing a post up about his crappy dealing if nothing of the sort happened?

And as far as mr. Blue S2k posting up about his phone not ringing... that may be the case; I'll give you that. But if you were online looking at houses, then why did you not respond to the many messages i sent to you on AIM.

5)And if it was just a "communication error" or whatever, then why would you not apologize for making me ride up there and wasting an entire day of my time.
