    both parties are at fault, one for not telling the buyer to check the product before selling, and one for the buyer not checking product before the purchase was processed.

    They ARE both at fault, you're right. The seller shouldn't have to tell the buyer to check it out. The buyer should have known that. BUT, the seller should have told the buyer it was fucked up. The seller knew it was. Later, QD.
