Bottom line: Karma's a bitch. Any person with any morals and values would have done the RIGHT thing by refunding the money.

And leaving your wife a voicemail is hardly causing emotional stress. If anything you guys were probably sitting there laughing your asses off about how you royally fucked someone out of $1200 dollars. Like Alvin said a few posts back, you're setting a prime example for your children.

I highly doubt that I am setting a bad example. And since I already have two kids I think I know more than 95% of the people who posted in this thread on that subject. And if that is hardly emotional stress then I guess you see the true severity of the case you two are presenting. I may be wrong on the moral area, but hardly in the law.

Bottom line: anybody with common sense would have inspected the wheels thoroughly before spending $1200. This isnt walmart, cant just return shit you buy. Im a friend of the seller and was with him when he sold them, the guy looked over the wheels for a solid 30min and took them. In no way did the seller force him to meet at night or force him to buy "bad wheels." The inside of the wheels dont even show and even the bbs wheels i ride on have egg shaped bolt holes (no problems). Man up and deal with your decision to buy them.

Look man, I'm sorry that the wheels are "too damaged to ride on", but I do not feel that this is the appropriate step to take. If I recall correctly it was YOU who asked me to meet you that night and I went through the trouble of driving one hour to meet you. You spent 10-15 minutes carefully looking over each wheel before talking me down $100 over some slight damages. It was at this point that you and I struck a deal calling everything square. My TWO witneeses saw and will testify to this; not to mention YOU'RE witness never stepped foot out of the passenger seat, also she was on the phone the whole time. My original pictures for the ad were never photoshopped and I still have them on my memory card to prove it. The ad also states that a tire was bad and that the wheels had no bends or curbs, which they didn't. To my knowledge this was all that was wrong with the wheels, thats why thats all that was in the ad. Not once did you ask for pictures of the rear of the wheels, and if you had I would have kindly obliged. In the end this really is just a serious case of buyers remorse, and will probably end up with you paying 6-10 times more on lawers and court fees, than it would have cost to just replace the ONE "bad" wheel. Not to mention you snooping around and calling my WIFE causing here much unneeded grief, that if you decide to pursue legal action you will receive a counter-suit for damages done to her via emotional distress.

    Thanks and good Day

Case-closed ! OP you have been ...just admit it and move on.

ps. YOUshould have nvr posted this thread and just sold them to someone else!!! like i did

If the wheels had been purchased from an online used wheel retailer, they wouldn't have returned the items in question either..

The seller responded and at this point, there's no justification in keeping this thread going.

After hearing both sides and opinions of others in regards to egg shaped bolt holes, (which I have no prior experience in).... I believe the wheels are far from trash, and this situation is far from being a total loss. You need to realize this is just a simple case of buyer’s remorse.

Btw: Op will not win in court.... LOL.

If someone allows themselves to be "fucked over", as you deem this , by not taking the proper precautions and interest in a. the item being considered for purchase and b. giving away one's hard earned money then one should not play the role of a victim.

I can only speak for myself in saying that if I was going to spend 1k plus on wheels then best believe I am going to ensure that what I'm getting is what I want to spend my 1k on.

So basically you're admitting for you AND your friend that you guys pulled a fast one on the OP?

If you OR your friend honestly did not know there was anything wrong with the wheel, dont you think you'd be standing up for the fact that you didnt know there was anything wrong vs. the fact that the OP is "lacking common sense" ??

LOL, you should keep your mouth shut before you dig your friends hole even deeper. *print*

    Seriously.
The OP should consult with an attorney before making meritless threats in regards to litigation when said threats could do the OP more harm than good.

wow you read into that wrong.. what i said was.. the buyer should have looked over them better if they really are in that bad of shape. Never did I say we pulled a fast one. HE (buyer) wanted to meet at night, HE looked over them for 30min, HE decided to buy them after inspecting them and noticing damages and negotiated a lower price. I never noticed that the bolt holes where "egg shaped" which isnt a big deal in my experience. The buyer had every chance to back out of the deal and was never forced to buy. Stop crying over not buying mint wheels and end this shit.

As far as I see it, OP really has two semi valid claims which both can be dispelled.

    1. Egg shaped holes: This is dismissed because others have said it is not an uncommon symptom with used wheels and do not affect the overall function of the wheels. If this bothers the buyer to the extent of this thread, it should have been looked for prior to purchase.

    2. Lights spider cracks in paint (up close): This is dismissed as well, because with paint alterations, light cracks can easily appear and should be looked for at POS. This goes for the paint chips as well. The buyers accepted the -100 discount for such accounts and an agreement was then reached when both parties traded hands.

I believe the sellers name should be cleared from any further slander.

If the seller did nothing wrong and had no idea of the damaged wheel please answer these questions.....

-Why did he go three full days without responding to my calls, text, pm's and call outs?

-Why did he lie to a mod/admin about straightening things out with me?

-Why have I not recieved the two shift knobs I gave him cash for?

-He says he lost my number, why did he not contact me through i.a. or answer the number of phone calls I made?

(My favorite) -Why did he block my number through his cell phone service provider within 12-14 hours after I bought the wheels from him?

I see what everyone is saying from your view and mine, but for these questions to go unseen and ANSWERED is crazy. The truth is that I was tricked. No one would buy the wheels if they knew that so why say anything......his thoughts. Weird how the wheel with the torn up tire was the one with damage. Everyone has stories, I haven't had a problem with my wheels and they have oblong holes and so on and so on. This can cause the lug nuts to viberate loose and the wheel might fall off. I know thats a lot of work for the nuts to viberate all the way off but it happens on the track all the time. Wheels aren't torqued and they viberate off. What happens when you drive around on a loose wheel? The studs oval out the holes in the wheel. I have seen a wheel continue to loosen and come off the car even after torquing the nuts into oval shaped holes. That is why I can not use these and would like my money back. What else does everyone have to tell me other than I didn't inspect them well enough?

There's one key thing you are missing.
    YOU are spending money.
YOU are spending what I presume to be YOUR hard earned money...and even if you aren't spending hard earned money, YOU are spending money all the same.

Regardless of whether or not the seller informed you of any and every imperfection the wheels may have, it is your duty and responsibility as the BUYER to make sure that YOU are spending YOUR money on something that is satisfactory to YOU.

Buyer Beware. This adage exists for a reason.

and also...if you initiated contact regarding your unsatisfaction with the wheels, with a third of the ire you have displayed in this thread, it would stand to reason that no one would want to deal with you in a favorable manner.

    You know what? Fuck this.

OP. I'm sorry you got fucked. And I feel you did. But in a sense, you helped the seller fuck you. You "took the time that you thought was necessary" and, after a bit of haggling, agreed on a deal. That was YOUR mistake, dude.

Seller. Let this be a lesson to you. And ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE!!! Do NOT make arrangements to meet up to sell/buy anything in the dark. It doesn't matter how much light you have. You fucked the OP and you know you did. But the deal went down and that's just how it is.

All in all, this isn't like an engine where you can't check internals to see if they are fucked up. These are wheels where you can see everything that could be wrong. If you didn't see it, that's on you.

This will go nowhere so OP, be careful next time and seller, don't try fucking anyone on here again. Now eyes will be on you, man.

    Later, QD.
