Short story, keep it simple.

I bought a b16 tranny from him. Thing looked old, was colored green and I was really unsure about buying it.

He wouldnt take anyless than 400, but he needed axels.

I asked him very clearly, are you sure this transmission is good.

He gave me his word that it is and said that I could get my money back if it was not.

Well I got it for $325 and gave him two axels.

Turns out Transmission is bad, and he wont return my calls, or my PMs.

From my experiance I would not trust.

sorry to hear that man. he offered it to me awhile back sayin it has a ls 5th gear in it too. sucks when people r not honest. I hope u can resolve this.

Honestly I do not think he ripped me off on purpose, he never used the tranny, he probobly never knew it was bad.

He bought it from his Friend, who told it was a good transmission, and he took his word on it like I took his.

I am mad because he told me that if it was bad, he would refund me my money, I dont even want my axels back, I just want my $325, he gets his tranny back and in the end gets some free axels.

Profiteer brought me the tranny, i took it apart. there are new synchro's like stated, but there where teeth on the magnet in the tranny. After further inspection i noticed the spider gears in the diff were broken (a few teeth broken)

also, alot of people take my word for parts, but i guess its because i work for a site sponsor.

its hard to find a good condition b16 trans, there are alot of people claiming they have good ones but turn out bad once they are in the car. ive had this happen myself but im just having to deal with a bad 3rd gear.

What the ****? I didn't get back to you earlier because i was no where close to the internet, I've been out of town you might say.. And about the whole tranny man, I sold you that thing a while ago. I told you if would work fine, because it did. I told you that some of the syncro's where new, because they are.
And i told you that i would give you your money back if it didn't work. You never mentioned to me that you were taking if apart. ****, how do i know you or whom ever took it apart didn't put it back together right? First and second gear worked just fine.
Im not getting a good vibe off this man, so Im going to say no to the refund. Because like i said before.. how do i know that someone didn't **** it up after i gave it to you?

I would pistol whip that ***** take the last few dollars that are i his wallet....chain and padlock the tranny to his leg and leave him in the front yard of his own home. I mean, its pretty easy to spy on some of these fools, I mean IA lets you know when was the last time some logged on, if they log on and dont respond to a message saying hey "hey listen, your trannys is bad, I can prove it was never used" and it takes him almost 2-3 weeks when he responds when he logged on every day for 3-5 days after I sent him that message.

ok he has untill holloween, oct 31st, I think that is plenty of time.

Its to late for a refund, I am already getting it fixed, but thats still a good 200-300 dollars minmum. I motion he pays for at least half of the repair cost, its all going to Emmino, he spent the last 2 weeks trying to save me as much money as he could in fixing it, now thats integrity, and he doesnt even have any obligation to this at all, he is just being a nice guy.

So I will motion for a ban, because IA has alot of stuff for sale, and he tries to sell stuff, so with him gone, that will make for 1 less thief in the market.

and good riddance.

but lets see how he responds to this, and if he doesnt lets hope the modz take into consideration on banning him.
