i feel stupid for doing this for a measly $50 but at the same time i must
it started with this thread by him
Random stereo equipment. ** cheap **

note that i was intsrested in his soundstream amp and was willing to pay every cent he wanted from it. no haggling and i would pick it up from him.
he clearly says..."Used, in good working order."

we pm each other a few times to discuss when and where i could pick it up from him and i ask him again to make very sure if it is good working order

and i am copy/pasting from a pm...

i pick up the amp, to go and have a new headunit installed without an internal amp, 2 sets of new components, and a new mono amp. so that being said, i need and expected to have a WORKING 4 channel soundstream amp since the HU has no power

i rip everything out of the car, , install all speakers, install both amps, and when i power up the SS from matt....pop goes the fuse.
i try another fuse...pop, pop, pop 3 more times.
so i have to buy ANOTHER 4 channel amp since the new headunit is in, and the old HU is gone.

i quickly that day ask again in a pm....does the amp work? and his reply by PM is

It was in my car and working fine. I removed it after I had an accident and it sat in my garage for about a year. Here is what I'll do. Whenever you can, bring it back up to me at my work and I'll have one of our engineers take a look at it and see if it can be repaired. He has repaired a few things for me in the past. If he can fix it, we're good. If not, then I'll give you your money back. Sorry for the trouble, it wasn't intentional. LMK when a good time for you would be. I apologize again, but it did work the last time I had it installed.

so cool, i drop the amp to him and said take your time, i have another amp so there's no real rush...this was all in april and may. its now september

on may 27 he sends me a pm saying-
-found the problem, we are waiting on parts. They should be here monday, I'll let you know.

on 6-12 he sends another pm saying-
-Sorry man, I've been really backed up at work. If I can't get it done this week, then I'll give it back to you and we'll work something out.


10 day later on 6-22 i send another pm asking for an update and he says-

Hey man, okay here is the deal. The guy I work with took the amp home w/ him to see if he could fix it, but everytime I ask him about it, he always says he's too busy to mess with it. I am truly VERY sorry about this man, it is not intentional at all. If you want to swing by sometime this week to my work, I'll gladly give you your money back. It's either that, or I'll just keep bugging my guy and get it back as soon as he's done. I realize that this seems like an excuse but I assure you that it's not, had I known it was going to take this long, then I would have just given you some money and the amp back and called it a day. LMK what it is that you want to do, and I'll be happy to oblidge either way. Again, I am sorry for the trouble and promise I'll make it right.

at this point i forot about the amp for a few weeks...my fault. so once again i pm him asking to either get the amp in working condition or the stupid $50 and this is his reply-

sorry man, I'm in San Diego for the week on work, you should have hit me up last week when I pm'd you. I'll be back in town next Monday.


i have sent 2 more pm's on august 7 and sept 6 with no reply. his profile shows that he has logged onto IA just about everyday since then most recently today around noon...

i have posted an "attn nbp01ls" thread in whoreslounge but he has yet to ever confirm reading his pm's, nor ever reply to my messages, nor make any effort to give me back the amp in working order or give me back my $50.

he has said before qouted above

he hasn't made anything right, it ended up costing more money and i have nothing to show for it from him. he has never had to lift a finger outside of walking to meet me at his place of employment since i always went to him



cliff notes-
bought an amp in april from him that he claimed worked...didn't work said he'd fix it or give money back...neither has happened.
won't return pm's won't give back amp in working condition or payment

Today is this first time that I've seen this. I sent you a pm on the 15th and gave you my phone number and told you I'd be at work every day that week. No phone call and you didn't show up. I have roomates that use my computer all day man, just b/c it says I've been online doesn't mean it was me, I'm always signed in here when the page is opened. I'm not arguing w/ you by no means, you seem like a really good guy. I know that this was my screw up but I'm not the only one at fault here man, I sent you pm's asking you what you wanted to do and got no reply until a month later. Bottom line is this, the amp worked fine when I took it out, therefore I assumed it was fine. Now I could have been a total dick about it and just told you tough luck have a nice day, but I didn't I told you that I would try to make it right. So, once again either
1. tell me where to send a money order for $50
2. come get it yourself or
3. I'll give you my alpine 4 channel at a loss to me, to make up for the delay.

Well... let's see. In the last year I've gotten married and had a child, sorry if my priorities are a little skewed, to be honest I completely forgot about it, and as I've said before, I'm never on this site, but always logged in, anyone in my house could have read your pm. I told you to tell me when and where you wanted to meet up and heard nothing in return, for over three months. I tell you what man, pm me a time place and number where I can reach you and this will be resolved.
