I'm inclined to say bullshit on this for one reason only. In his initial post, the buyer say anything about the bulbs coming on at all and then going out and not working anymore. He simply stated that it didn't work. In all my years(20 now), I have never caused or seen an unconnected bulb blow just by touching it. If you touch a bulb and connect it, it will come on and then blowout. According to the buyer, it never came on thus making the bulb inoperable before he even received it.
