Well if he kept his ride - kill switch and possibly GPS locator. Nothing is foolproof but multi layers helps... I know someone that hardwired a GPS locator to watch his daughter's vehicle. Great piece of technology. Daughter has no clue and is WTF everytime she is caught deviating from her destination.....

Would you happen to know what type of GPS locator he used or maybe a link to it?

(gsp told me) 90% of police cars in a police dept have the lojak scanner, except the suv's sargents special cases agents and all that so pretty much all cruisers do.

Dam bro that sucks to hear both of your cars got stolen at the same time. I went to the movies on sunday was extremely paranoid. I had 3 killswitches disconectd ecu and alarm and was still scared lol. I guess I'm lucky but any ways hope the best for u and your friend. To bad there isn't a review of these things on consumer reports. They really need to do a comparison test. Hell, they test house paints long term why not GPS locators. So we can see what their limitations are. Good, bad etc.....

There's only so much u can do to protect your car. The best thing would b to leave it at home and take a differant car to the mall or movies. Its hard to protect a car against a toe truck all your killswitches would b useless. Just sayin imo

my bro had his rsx-s stolen and they CSI styled fingerprinted the WHOLE car inside out even the bay. Still no leads. so i doubt a kids detective kit will do any better. haha
