Shouldn't be difficult. I have the same engine, mine may be easier to get to.

All you have to do is first remove the engine cover.

Then look at the charge pipe directly behind the engine. Their is a big rubber hose connecting to it. Remove it.

You can just put the adapter right where it was and then mount the BOV there. Then you follow the hose you disconnected to the oem diverter valve. It's right next to the air box.

Then remove the small vacuum line from the oem dv and put it to the hks ssqv. I think then you just plug the hole where the dv is supposed to recirculate.

I don't know how different it is for a hks, I have never really looked at them, I know about it for greddys and standard stuff. If anything sounds wrong just say so.

Well that ssq I have heard is one of the few bov's that won't cause our engine to throw a code. The thing is if it does, you can use the greddy and just connect the hose and recirculate it.

It will throw a code and throw it into safe mode unless u recirc it. I had the exact same BOV on my 1.8t. I know from experience.

Not neccessarily I have heard quite a few people on VWvortex who did the same but did not throw codes.
