    Nah...

Suzuki is the best. Dont let anyone tell you anything different.

Suzuki wins championships. Suzuki wins races and rides best.

For a first bike I would suggest at GSXR-750. It is the OPTIMAL all around bike. It gives you the best possible handling and speed coupled with weight. This was my favorite bike so far.

I personally am looking at getting a GSXR-1000. I lose a bit of handling and maneuverability, however the power gain is worthwhile to me. However, until you ride street bikes for a good bit of time, you wont be able to use to added power anyway.

Some people will recommend the Hayabusa, but I personally don't like it. Too big and bulky and the power gain over the GSXR-1000 is marginal. Its not worth the bit of extra power for what you lose.

I have ridden bikes for a number of years and have owned quite a few as well. In all my experience Suzuki is the way to go. I know a number of people with an R1 (supposed equivalent to GSXR-1000) and a rider on a GXSR-750 can easily out ride someone on a R1.

I need something thats also going to be very reliable. I have'nt heard to many good things about Suzuki as far as reliability but I have'nt asked alot about them either. Yea I want to get a 1000cc, I refuse to get a 600cc.

Yea, NEVER buy a 600. It is an utter and complete waste.

750 is the SAME size as a 600 with more power.

Check out Suzuki, I think you will find them to be an excellent bike.

chris u probably need a 600, dont try to be a bad ass and have an 1000. if you've never had a bike u need to start out like a normal person....dont try to jump to hardass! everyone thinks 600'eds are for pussies, but they are faster and handle better than u think. 750's are ok, but 1000'ends are for ppl who have been riding and know exactly what they are doing...ppl who's first bike is a 1000 are ppl who are only trying to be coool....b/c they wanna show everyone they have a 1000....i'd say more but this subject is kinda stupid.....thats just my .02
