Pros - cheaper to mod and easy to work on. Also doesnt take much to make the evo 9 fast
Cons - It seems like every person under the age of 30 has one, weak drivetrain

Pros - A badass drivetrain and depenable when it comes to putting a lot of miles on it
cons - Harder to work on and more expensive to mod
