The full story of my Supra "from start to now"

damn dood. hope everything works out soon.

I wouldn't be able to hold my head on my neck if anything similar happened to me! Glad things finally got into MSPi's bay because I see and hear nothing but greatness from them. I've never worked on a Supra bro, but if you want to hold a mod day or something with PMS we could just start looking over things so you have damn good idea how to troubleshoot engine problems! Sort of get you started in the DIY mode. Otherwise MSPi all the way :goodjob:

that sounds good cause im not mechanically sound enough so basically i go by research and shops word so if they say something ill listen cause i figure there the experts man let me know im always ope to knowledge man.

um it obviously helps if you work on those cars on a weekly basis... experience with racing, building the specific application is a must when your looking to spend 1000s. i guess by your comments you think any mechanic should be able to work on anything :rolleyes:

Forget what you heard, IMO :). It should have been about how YOU were treated when you called or e-mailed (we had lots of corespondence). I think you were treated pretty well and given no reason to question our "customer service". There are 3 sides to every story;) Theirs, ours and the truth. You should know that there are a lot of idiots out there and what some of them say is just crap. You know this from posting on IA in general. In, fact...that's life in general. There are tons of haters and stupid people out there and all of the have an opinion and a mouth. Some people talk junk, just to talk junk or because they are ignorant. You know this. You have experienced it time and time again posting on this forum :) As the old addage goes..believe none of what you hear and only 1/2 of what you see ;).

That's not to say that everyone has a pleasant experience here...because sometimes they don't. It's hard to please everyone all of the time. We all have bad days and we all have good days. But like I said, it should have been about YOUR experience.

Either way, I wish you luck with your car :) I HOPE ONE DAY WE CAN SELL OUR EVO AND GET OUR SUPRA BACK TOGETHER! :) I miss it.

yep not alot of people knew about all the calls and emails we exchanged while i was deployed and yoru right i had no reason to question you all except for the hear-say i was recieving, but you are correct though i should have stuck with my original plan and brought it there however i didnt and now ive learned a hard lesson out of it, one that others will see and learn from also i hope. Here is an excellent example of an ignorant poster. Never been to our shop...yet always has the most to say about us :) Remember, like I said...there are always 3 sides to every story. Just becuase one of them is the loudest or the ost persistant on the issue...doesn't mean it's true.

I've heard at least one story like this about pretty much every shop in ATL. I believe them all. It just seems to be the nature of the business. I don't have anything against any shop, I just hate taking my cars to them. I've had dealings with TS and my experience was great, but I know others haven't and that stays in the back of my mind.

I still wouldn't go to Batl to get my car worked on. I'd rather go to TOPSPEED why cause they work on a shit loads of Impreza's.... and from what tracy says shes not really a fan of Subys ;) ..... or just take a 5min drive to SOG

Tank Mainstream's a good shop from what ive heard BUT Mike i really losted some fate in yall cause of what happened with Geo's car(300zx). But thats another story

i was waiting for someone to say his name he "clark" was one of the 2 only people working on my car "doug" being the second i find it hard how for my car to turnout like it did when his hands was one of the main ones on it hell i even got a vid of him with the supra in the shop but to my knowledge hes not a employee there so i cant hold him responsible for what he did yet another Topspeed clause.

Yeah it is weird Clark really know his stuff... before Ez's car got fucked he had a real good talk with clark and he told me that he have him great advise and real cool tricks to make his Supra fast

it could have just been bad luck man. we'll never know

SO, Geos 300zx had a blown motor. we installed the motor HE BROUGHT TO US. he was running an aftermarket ECU from Z1. We told him not to boost on it unless it was tuned.

1-2 months later the car blows a turbo ON THE MOTOR HE SUPPLIED. I told him it sucks because what he just paid for (RR ENGINE) would prob have to be paid again because you have to pull the motor to replace the turbos. I told him it would prob be between $1500-2000 to get the turbo an replace it.

He declined , picked up his car an took it to Forged.

i fail to see where we did anything wrong.

Buddy before Doug went to shitspeed there were more than the fingers on my hand. And since he has been there, there have been atleast two. I know from experience. :yes: :yes:

ANd this is why "bad things " get spread, people only hear 1 side an make their own conclusions. thats why i dont try to get sucked into any of this.

Because at the end of the day, im busy, and im getting busier everyday, if we are so bad, i hope we get worse so my parking lots gets busier.

Mike you run a good shop from what I have seen, It has been first class. When you say something it normally happens, same at Batlground.
