Yeah I'm a SCAD kid... the reason for the hush hush about the arkeetekture program is because they are in the process of getting it accredited. The school itself is accredited by all sorts of boards.. and it's accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, which is the big one. When NASAD accredits a school, it means that all of the coursework there is approved and accredited, so technically, yes, the architecture program is accredited. But they are in the process of getting it accredited by the National Architecture Accrediting Board. It's probably gonna take 2-3 years for them to get accredited by them, because the architecture program is small, so getting a lot of student work is difficult.Originally Posted by speedminded
Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.
haha, i applied like 6 years ago...At the time was working with a civil engineer that graduated from Georgia Tech and he warned me he didn't think they were accredited and probably couldn't take the test with their credentials. (He started at Tech in the architecture program back in the late 70-80's before it turned into "Architorture", he said it was basically arts & crafts with very few students and hated it so went Civil) oh yeah, he actually lived in a RV in one of the parking lots on campusOriginally Posted by xPhantomSolx
