    Default ferrari museum pictures

I figured I'd share some pictures I took this summer from the ferrari museum in maranello.

The town of maranello is awesome...everything is ferrari. Ferrari restaurants, tons of shops that sell classic ferrari memorabilia, factory workers walking around in ferrari uniforms, and more often than not the sound of ferraris tearing up the streets and Pista di Fiorano. Even the museum itself exceeded my expectations. At the time they were making 599s so there were a good bit of em driving around. Got video of a guy getting on it while driving by...sounds incredible.

Superamerica...on the way to the v12 room...pictured below

Now upstairs...felt like a little kid...got to see my favorite ferraris...each one for the first time. You first walk in...and have a 360 GTC.

    Then a GTO

    Then...my favorite ferrari...an F40

    ...and an F50.

Then you would walk through more engines on display...and they had an Enzo

after that we rolled out...went and saw the front of the factory. You have to be invited to tour it.

They had a ferrari body shop...with tons of parts laying out back.

    and of course...farrari's own racetrack

    and some more pics

    another shot of the enzo

billboard next to the enzo dedicated to jamiroquai and his ferrari. had the video for cosmic girl playing next to it on a plasma screen (pretty awesom video)

    more f1

    more engines

    1987 f1 engine

forget which year...hi hp turbo on it though

    single cyl test engine...290cc...60hp

one of the first...or perhaps the first 12 cyl ferrari engine.

the new ferrari 12...in the enzo and new 599

another thing too which was cool...they had a quote from enzo ferrari put up on one of the walls...worth putting up on here:

"We all know that money is usually leant to those who do not need it. It is a common banking practice. And I had very little to offer in the way of collateral. In Modena, however, I found a small bank named after the town's patron saint, San Geminiano, with a different approach. From time to time they would lend on the borrower's presumed entrepreneurial skills, rather than on his wealth and assets. I just happened to arrive at one of those times."

That F1 steering wheel would confuse the shit out of me. Great pics, I hope to make it there one day. I was online looking at the Puma Store at the Ferrari collection last night contemplating purchasing a set of Puma SF shoes.

Great Photos!!! I went to this factory about 10 years ago but it is way cooler to see it with current cars.

...and the Jamiroquai photo is on point....and if you havent seen the video for Cosmic Girl, it is the shit and you will enjoy it!

thanks y'all...I really can't wait to go back...next time I'll try to get a tour within the factory. I regret not taking advantage of all the ferrari memorabilia shops there. One store we went in had ferrari posters archived from almost 20 years ago...and at cheaper prices than most new ones. I'll put up a few more car pictures from the trip:

Right as I took this picture of the arc de triomphe...a gt3 rolls right into the picture. Looked really awesome in person...especially compared to the fiats and peugots that surround it.

Also thought this came out pretty nice...also in paris. Cayman S

Also a very nice car...this Cheyenne Turbo in Prague.

Another lucky picture...f430 rolled by as I took the picture.

dammit i wish i was back there haha
