first pics?
hell yea, i just got one on tuesday, ive read the manual over a few times and i pretty much know how to work the camera, i just have to learn when to make certain adjustments, what kind of lense do you have?
As far as the lens, i have the Nikor 18-55mm lens. Here are some pictures, like i said, i have a long way to go. I didnt have a tripod for any of the night/dusk ones, so i was limited to what i could do.
Fire Hydrant, i know i cut the top off, but didnt know it till i got home, still needs cropping and enhancing

Some cars at my condo
Working on the panning shots, not bad for night time and hanging over a fence.
Thats it for now. I have a lot of work to do, but I will get there.

wow, nice condo. i see you live in roswell, are those condos in roswell? or at the beach somewhere?
No we own a condo in Destin Fl. The guy who owns basically all the liquor stores in NW FL lives at our condos, he likes to flaunt his money.

ah gotcha
quick question, when a lense says f4-5.6, is it telling you the maximum aperture is f4? or what exactly is that telling you?
yes i believe so, but it seems like we are in the same boat, i still dont know what everything means. I am hoping to take some classes to get the best out of the camera.

Nikon is the best.
lets say the lens is 15mm-150mm with a F4.3-5.6
at 15mm the max is 4.3 at 150mm the max is 5.6
