    lmao! I was hoping to get some advice from you all! What I did was go to "Scene" and kinda copy what settings they had going for "fireworks" then I jumped to manual and played with the shutter as best as possible to get the better shots.

    All except the first one I had a 4" shutter going. I pulled the first one down to around 1-1.5" if I remember right. That's why it turned out dark and I had to turn up the fill light and highlights on it a tad. All in all though, I got the same problems as you with the light shocks/glare. Your's turned out pretty good though!

    I liked your shots actually. I liked the blue one the best. The colors are great.

    I just realized something.....I was shooting with a long lens vs a short prime lens. Maybe I just had too short of a field of view and therefore I had to shorten the shutter speed to get anything which then limits the shot..... George? Brady? Matt? Jason? Anyone?
