i'm actually going to start on the rest of the suite if i have time. got to paint my car first though, and i have no idea how long that will take me.
the stain looks darker than it actually is, but its still kind of dark. when the light hits it, it looks almost red. its closer to brown otherwise. i took those pics just before my original post and didn't have real good light.Originally Posted by Pher

the posts seem a bit big for my taste, but you did some great work to it! i know its better than what i could have done. hah.
Now just paint the room!
Edit: I didn't notice YOU actually made it the first time I posted! Good shit mayne! Now still paint the room![]()
props man. I wish I was good with woodworking.
its a queen. i made the posts so they could be separated from all of the pieces between them (head/footboard and side panels), so all i would have to do to make it for a king is build the head and footboards a little longer. the reason the posts are so big is because i wanted a low, heavy, perminent looking bed. the tallest points are 4 and a half feet.
as for the room, heh, its staying that color. i'm renting =\.
looks amazing..

looks good, but i agree w/speedminded on the stain color.
Wow. That is very impressive!![]()
