My dad goes regularly. I've been waiting two years. The first year I was too young. Then last year I was finally 18, but never got a chance to go.
All I have to say is DAMN! That was great!

Yeah, tandem isn't the best thing ever. It's not like everything was really planned out. Otherwise I would have asked to go solo. I was just sittin at home and my dad called and asked if I wanted to come up there and jump since the place is closing down some time next week.Originally Posted by Chuckster

Yeah. I forget what it's called, but there's an altimeter that triggers your reserve at a certain altitude.Originally Posted by TheSnail

You never know what can go wrong
It is hard to belive that we have existed as long as we have, yet have only evolved to know more about others and not ourselfs!!!!
True...it freaked me out when he loosened the harness a bit when we were in the air. I was like.......SHIIIIIIT HE'S GUNNA DROP ME. Feels good to know I finally went and enjoyed myself though.

^100% correct! lol, plus i'd rather have somebody who knows exactly what they're doing in control my first time out. AFF isn't for me just yet.

I have a good friend that's an instructor there. He had a nasty accident a few years ago while doing a stunt.
I've done it the exact same way. I too was not really feeling easy when he loosened the rig in mid air. That was unnerving. It was fun, the video music was cheesy, the stills were cool, but it was worth doing at least once.
