    You mean the D2X? To be honest, I cant justify spending an extra two grand on top of the two grand for the D200 for an extra 2 megapixels and wireless transfer capabilities . lol

    yeah, well he is a professional photographer/writer for car magazines and used to take pics for Porsche ads. In his basement he has an archive with a few million pictures he took of every Le mans, indy, daytona, seebring, etc. race from 1970-present. its amazing! he said someone offered $1 million for his archive a few years ago and he didnt take it (but he regrets it now).

    Wow. Craziness. Offered a million dollars for his pictures and didnt take it.... lol


    Few million pictures , I didnt know that the shutter and body would last that long lol Does he still shoot? What's his name out of curiousity? :confused:

    dude not all with the same camera. he is like 60 yrs old. his name is Hal Crocker, he writes for Classic Motorsports magazine. yeah he still shoots but not as often. i did 2 hours of yard work for him the other day and he gave me this 3ftx5ft porsche poster lol. he's a really nice guy. check out his websites, teamunicorn.com and sportscarmedia.com

    It's awesome that a photographer that's been shooting that long is using a DSLR...alot won't make the jump over to digital.

    hrmm...i'll have to see about his 70's archive. I've been trying to dig up pics of my dad's '56 356 Speedster...won races at Homestead, Daytona, Sebring, and the airport in Key West...both parents were winners of the Bay Bottom Crawl too.
