But yeah thanks for posting those, cause I think JM and I are gonna go this weekend now, lol!! I love that place!! I have a lot of memories from when I was little from there. We used to go to this one place and hike all the way down the Gorge while the adults were already half drunk and trying to do this with full coolers of whatever they were drinking, lol and camp at the top of this huge rock, and the next day the rock was a huge slide into a pool pretty much.. I don't know if it's still there or if it is I am sure you can't camp on it like we used to, lol...

Can we kick you, adrian and skip out, and move me in? Thanks. You can stay if you promise to use your point and shoot thingy.Originally Posted by speedminded

lolol, i'm pretty much sure that big rock is still there but don't think any fires/camping is allowed in the gorge.Originally Posted by silver

Ma'am, I am with the Atlanta Chapter of the International Olympic Vegetable Safety Swat Team... I'm gonna have to ask you to put that squash back immediately.

lol, who knows...and it doesn't bother me...We were at the kroger at the bambinelli meet, attempting to rid her of her modeling stage fright and be comfortable with herself by posing with various embarassing items...holding a summer's eve box with a "buy me" expression as people walk by looking like wtf? etc.Originally Posted by aaronfelipe
I'll have her on a runway in no time.
Having people look and stare is one thing, having puberty stricken teenage boys acting like God's gift to women tryin to spit game at her while she is modeling is another. Good luck.Originally Posted by speedminded

I like the depth of field and the sharpness of the first few pics.![]()
Thanks, shot in max resolution, sharpened on PS then resized....if sharpened/edge sharpened prior to resizing it seems to do a cleaner job. Still kinda jagged though.Originally Posted by Jaimecbr900
Just wish the camera was compatible with a tripod...unless there's some trick i haven't figure out yet?! It's just a little 5.0mp DSC-T1, no bigger than a deck of cards, but the perfect pocket P&S...those examples were a few of the first dozen shots i did with it after purchasing. Only bad thing with the size is it's nearly impossible to steady without some sort of support...was never a problem with my big ass F717 thanks to it's weight.
I like sharp pics myself, so I'm partial to those types of pics.Originally Posted by speedminded
Have you tried unsharp mask vs auto sharp or edge sharp? Just curious on the difference. I use unsharp mask 99% of the time vs the other choices.

Have you tried one of those table top tripods? Does the camera have a screw mount on the bottom?
wow, that's..err...yeah, i've now tried the unsharp mask...i've always thought "un"sharp was meant to make it less sharpen or blurred...like the 80's penthouse photo's so i never even tried it...lol. my new tool for PS nowOriginally Posted by Jaimecbr900
(oh yeah, now i have to go through every single one of my photos, thanks! alot! really! grrr
)
attached below is the first pic redone with the manual sharpen and seems to be alot less jagged yet a crisp look...

I'm glad it worked better for you. Just don't over do it with the unsharp mask or it will blow out the pic. Just something new to try.
Since the cam has no screw mount, it's gonna be tough. I've read of using stuff like small sand bags or those stress ball things as a make shift tripodesque thing in order to keep the cam steady. Also using a fixed object like a wall or pole to lean against may also help on those shots that you slow it down enough to need it.
i have the same cam. but i just dotn know how to use it as well.. anyone wanan teach me?
