    Has anyone heard that you can only get about 50k shots out of an xt??? is this true? I mean I know thats alot.... but still...

    The XT is rated at 50k actuations. It can be more or can be less just depends on the use. From what I understand the D50 is somewhere between 20k and 50k as there have been posts from D50 owners who were told by Nikon techs that the D50 was good for about 15k-20k and shooting continous will only shorten the life. Take it how you want it.
