    Looks good, huge improvement over the first shots with the D40 If you put the f/stop even higher all the buildings in the background would be as sharp as the varsity torch tower. Of course that would make the photo alot darker so you would need to decrease the shutter speed to compensate...which would make the taillights and headlights one long continuous line of light instead of starting and stopping. Just an idea!

    wouldn't maybe turning his iso up a bit have helped too?

    looks like it was set at 200....

    No it wouldnt have.. Turning up the ISO would have gave it a higher possibility to show NOISE.. speedminded was correct in his words..

    yep, no reason for a higher ISO if a tripod is being used.
