a few from my cruise last week

I know its one pic a day, but I took these on the same day and same trail.


This is on the trail to Raven Cliff Falls, its gay because we never made it to the actual "raven cliff" falls... Its a 2.5 mile hike to the falls and we thought we passed it cause there was a big waterfall we could not get to, but we kept walking and then just all the sudden turned around and walked back... It was getting too late. We found out later when we turned around, that the falls was just like 100 yards up. We did get to see some nice falls though...

lol, you do know there isn't really a waterfall right? The trail ends at a 100+ft. rock cliff with crevices and some water winding it's way down the center...it's hard to explain but it's not a waterfall like you would expect. There is a great view from the top with the leaves down, just have to climb up all the roots on the right side...

I am jealous of your HDR pics!! As soon as I get a new lens it's on!

oh wait, you which raven cliffs [falls] are you talking about? There's GA, NC, SC, and a couple other states...the one in SC is a 420' waterfall.

lol, you do know there isn't really a waterfall right? The trail ends at a 100+ft. rock cliff with crevices and some water winding it's way down the center...it's hard to explain but it's not a waterfall like you would expect. There is a great view from the top with the leaves down, just have to climb up all the roots on the right side...

Dang!! 420ft?! How far is that from Atl? I went to the one in north ga. Im in on that other one though!

Well I guess we didnt miss much though. There was another waterfall on the trail, I tried to climb down the side but it was real muddy and we were pressed for time, but it looked like a good one from what I could see...

I didnt do the HDR, I had a soft filter on the camera. For some reason I never use a tripod or photoshop my pictures. I usually downsize, contrast, and border them and thats it. I am gonna start messing around with HDR though, there are some amazing pics out there with it.

Well I should have my D300 in few weeks...haha cant wait! Then I gotta get the sigma 10-20 lense and then after that one, I have to get the new Sigma 50-500 thats out.... Have you all seen that thing? Its sweet!
