    Sky... The way the shot was setup is.. On my boat, there is a set of stairs going up to the fly bridge, I was kinda sitting towards the bottom and she is at the top. I got into a position soo the background was mostly blue sky with some clouds. THe sun was directly behind her, so i used fill flash to drop the background and correctly expose her face (to the best of my ability). The end result is what u see. I did NOT change the back ground, or really anything for that matter in photoshop (besides the obvious sepia effect and leaving the glasses as the appear in the original photo). I think the end result is half way decent.
