Just got it, like it a lot.
redr1 has a D80, and we can share gear. He also just got a T3i, so I am learning some about Canon as well.
We went a couple of weeks ago to the mtns to get some pics, and learn more about the cameras. Just learning the basics for now.

Sounds good, I was using a D90 and have been messing around w/the D5100 but looking to sell to fund my D300s by the holidays.
Couldn't really find a good shot with all of the light pollution from Atlanta. This is actually the best one. I need a lot of practice to get it better.

Taken in early morning, processed in CS5 - extracted barrel, lowered background saturation, increased barrel vibrance, added exposure, added selective color (black).
