Wow, that rose pic is blurry as hell... I dont think there is a single part in focus!
Bump that ISO up a notch if you are hand-holding the camera @ 1/25th...
Compositionally, its okay, but I would like to see more of the leaf on the bottom.
Could use some dramatic lighting or something too.
Yeah the rose has got to go. Hand held 1/25th but shot at ISO 100?! Was it shot in an automatic mode? Try it again then come back!Quote:

Yeah I had forgotten what ISO I had left the camera in since I was using my tripod about 5 minutes earlier on another shot. . and more than likely will get a better shot later on this weekend since the rest of the bush will be coming into bloom. Also still getting used to the distance I have to stand from things w/ the 50mm lens (that was my first day/night using it). . I only shoot in manual mode. .
18" is the closest you can get...it's not a macro lens lol! I wish Canon would make a 35mm f/1.8 in the same quality!Quote:
