I know it's grainy. My iso was too high, but you can't argue with the subject matter.

Ok, these two are pretty big, but something's just lost in translation to smaller pics. This beautiful American Pitbull is named Sky. She's about 4 months old and has the most beautiful eyes. It was getting pretty dark by the time I took the last pic (and as a pup, she hates sitting still).

    JessAlba,

I think your bridge picture is pretty great! But would be more powerful in this format:

I adjusted levels and sharpened slightly as well.

    Nice shot!

Looks great! I just uploaded straight from the camera without any post processing.

What shutter speed were you on to capture the humming bird in flight? They are tough critters to capture without the image being blurry since they love to dart here and there.

It varied... 1/2500th to 1/3200th and 1/4000th of a second.

    An f2.8 lens helps!

I think horses are awesome creatures. For some reason, up-close, they remind me of Arnold Schwarzenegger... I guess 'cause they could knock me out at any moment.

Got called outside couple mins ago to see the blooming of this flower. I don't know what it's called in English, but this is a very strange flower. It's hard for it to bloom, and it only blooms at night for a short while, then dies in the morning.

Needless to say, grabbed my gear for 2 quick pics. I forgot to use the tripod, so the focus is off a little bit. Also, the flower is so fragile that I can't really touch or move it. It's hidden behind the branches, so I tried the best to sneak the lens in there. Nevertheless, I hope you guys enjoyed it.

I believe this would be the Night-blooming cereus: http://rfovell.bol.ucla.edu/cereus.html That's awesome. You captured what only happens one night out of the year.
