I took this with a regular Kodak point and shoot. Just wondering what you guys think. If it has any potential with a better camera...etc.

Question is, how did it look before transforming into Sepia? Were the whites blown out? Did color reproduction on screen look accurate to real life, or was it overexaggerated?

I think photography should be about your own style and not the equipment you're using. Develop your own style and your own type of shots, and the rest will come by itself.

well I didnt convert to sepia. I set the camera before I took the shot to sepia...all I did in photoshop was sharpen, border, and my name.

Yea man they are pretty good little cameras for quick photo shots. Also as a general digi cam its pretty good and has good clarity. As for some of the other shots like the more "artistic" ones its pretty good too just depends on what one is taking pictures of.

It has potential, the pattern seen here is good, but it could be cropped better, try using the 3rds rule, or 5ths rule, I think if there were more dramatic shadows or something it woud be more interesting, or at least more contrast... the whole photo doesnt span enough of the gray scale

dont take anything personaly i was a photo major and was going to go to SCAD before i changed my mind and went to physics. I have many published photos as well.

Mine really dosn't leave the garage. People across the street think it is a tool bench.

LoL the only way I could do a watermark (that I knew of) is draw the signature I put on my drawings and take a picture of it. Then Cut it out on photoshop...lol.
