What lenses do you carry most/use?
I have the kit 18-55, and ordered a 55-200, and a 35 f/18 (all cheap nikon DX lenses).
What size lenses do you use the most? Any reason to get larger than a 200 telephoto?
Is it worth the money to get a wide angle?

since you shoot Nikon I would suggest the 35mm 1.8 all day long... you did that. since you also ordered a 55-200 play a round with that and see what focal lengths you like, you will then know if you want a longer lens (which you probably will).
I own a Nikon 35mm 1.8(that i use on the D7000), a Nikon 50mm 1.8 and a Nikon 18-35mm 3.5-4.5.
I also rent/use a Nikon 70-200 2.8 VRII and Nikon 400mm 2.8 everytime I go to the track.
Can't really say if you NEED longer than 200 or wide angle without knowing what you shoot the most.
my sigma 70-200 stays on my D7000. i also have a nikon 50 1.8 and a sigma 10-20.
I just shoot family shots right now. I'm no professional.
I have access to a D80 also, and it will be getting the 50mm f/1.4 soon, and maybe a Sigma 150-500mm.
I just like the effects of the wide angle. I'll probably just by the new GoPro Hero2 for my wide angles though. My Hero works pretty well, but the new one is even clearer.
How is the build quality on the Sigma?

i stay with a Nikon 50mm 1.8G on my Nikon D7000, but i also own a Sigma 10-20, a Sigma 70-200 II, and a 35mm 1.8 but i seldom use them much..
i read that you were going to get a 50mm 1.4? if your talking about the G version dont get it... its not that big of a difference compared to a 1.8G and costs over twice as much with slightly ugly bokeh
I've got the 35mm f/1.8 coming for the D5100, so I'm golden for it.
Might have access to a new T3i w the 2 kit lens package soon also. My friend with the D80 might get that as his cheap camera.
I already have an old Sony DSC-P1 for a point and shoot, and a GoPro HD Hero. Want the new Hero2 though. I'm even tempted to sell my HD Hero and order 2 of the new Hero2's.

I have 2 of the sigma 10-20s... one is broken from a front impact when my camera took a nosedive whilst on tripod on uneven ground, the other is the replacement= I liked it enough to not move to a different lens when I had a chance... though I did think about and did my research to only come back to the sigma 10-20 in the end.
pictured on the left is the new one obviously. It has a smother finish and the petal hood is a bit looser on it than the old broken one on the right. You also get a pouch for your lens but I don't use mine.

Got my 35mm f/1.8, and 55-200mm today - along with a SB-400 flash (and accs), another Lowepro bag (SlingShot 202AW), Hoya HD filter, etc.

I'll probably just wait on the super telephotos then unless I get a good deal. Going to test the FOV on the new GoPro Hero2 next week. It might have to work as my wide angle for now.
