gatlinburg mini vacation

just a few quick shots from our short vacation in gatlinburg earlier this week.

this is the road we came in on, HWY441 which goes through the smoky mtns national park. this was the morning after we got there and decided to go see the snow that fell overnight. apparently the rangers had a different opinion.


the only road we could find that headed up over one of the nearby mountains. as we neared the top we were greeted with snow.

yeah, the 240 or jenn's celica would have had major issues going up the driveway to the hotel. i was forced to put it in 4wd once just because it was so slippery from the rain and so damn steep. i'm really considering boosting that thing, it really doesn't like big hills unless you're going super slow in 4wd . needs mo powah!
