Default first attempt at time lapse photography

went outside yesterday evening and tried out the time lapse interval timer on the d300s. definately needs more practice and its really short unfortunately. hoping to get back out soon and do a really long set from day to night.

obviously its nothign new and inovating but its something to get started while i think of something more creative if theres even a possiblity.

    here it is

Good start. You probably could have gotten away with taking far less frames as the clouds and water weren't moving very quickly. I would reference http://timescapes.org/ and the forum there. Some very good information, and his work and the work of people that post there is just some of the best around.

I would pick a bit more of a stimulating scene for your next go-around though. Maybe if it were just a bit cloudier, you could yield some stellar results. Definitely try some night stuff too- stars are just totally awesome when timelapsed. It is much trickier at night- low light issues, noise, focus, etc. But when you get it right, its totally great..

    good luck. Post your results!
