Default Grand Baby Kira's Playhouse. Phase 1

I have the main part complete and the last part of phase one finished which is the swinging bridge. Phase 2, 3, 4 and 5 should be complete by Christmas if time allows.

    Enjoy! Comments/suggestions welcome.

Thanks Mike. It was and still is a lot of work, about 60 hours worth so far... Something most of the youngins on here may not understand but I am acquiring the empty nest syndrome. Building things such as this helps me get by at times.

Thanks, you need to stop by sometime and check out the swinging bridge, turned out 100X better than I was expecting.

Well if you knew me you wouldn't even ask.

I used 4 rows of 5/16 1,200# brass wire cable so it will hold approx 4,800 lbs. I think we would all be fine crossing it at the same time.

Thanks man. We spend about 95% of our time on the deck cooking out, swimming, etc. so it never crossed my mind to put it anywhere else.

Yeah man but I did this for enjoyment and the grand baby so never thought about the work part but remember sweating for days in while building it.

Phase ll starting next week I hope. Anyone have any idea on a merry go round? I was thinking of taking an axle tube/axle and concreting it about 2-3 feet in the ground and using the studs to bolt the platform. Any ideas out there on this or phase ll? I am open for reasonable suggestions and wanna make this thing badazz.
