bill, thats the thing i......it six one half dozen of the other what people think about my work. i stated before, i dont care what people think about my work cause i dont do it for anyone. i do photography the way i want to do it. not how other people want. if they feel it sucks, then thats fine. if they like it then great. but regardless i dont are. i post it on sites for the hell of it. not caring what people think. sounds arrogant probably and hard headed...but i could care less. keeps stress out of my life. as i have said before im in it for me and i know what I like. not what other people like.

people can give me criticism all day, and ill definitely take it into consideration. but when you reply like that and dont really even give GOOD criticism besits "this sucks, thas sucks, they all suck" im not gunna take that and run with it. that was the reasoning for my reply to his post. besides, its hard to feel criticism is worth from someone acts like they are better then you when they are not. just who i am. i dont care. love it or hate it, its not changing. dont look at my shit then if you think it will always suck?

I have to say, BNT, if there was truly no "sweat off your back," you'd not respond to the responses the way you do. You definitely give off the impression that you're taking offense to anything negative said to you about your pics. Just relax and take it with a grain of salt. If you're really doing it for you, then don't let what others post get to you....and don't say they don't get to you because your responses to them clearly shows otherwise, dude.

He should know by now, but some ppl just don't learn....also, it can be argued that photography is one of the few things where what OTHER ppl think actually matters more than what you, the photographer might think. You can think your pics are the best but if everyone else thinks your pics suck then...I guess ignorance is bliss right

I do have to disagree with you here, homey. Photography is an art form. Not only can interpretation be gained from onlookers, but it can also be obtained from the artist himself. If the artist wanted to conform to what everyone else wanted or if he wanted to make a living with this, then yes, your statement rings true. But if he were doing this for self-gratification, self-fulfillment, then you couldn't be further from that truth.

Beauty is in the eye off the beholder.
