Default Those good at making logo's...

Been working for awhile trying to come up with a new logo for my business and I have ran into some problems. First being...I suck with Photoshop and second being I am just not that creative or artistic. Wondering if we have any real creative people on here that are good at making logo's. These are the best I could come up with. I am looking for something both creative and professional.

I am willing to work out a deal with someone who can create me a nice logo to use on both vehicle decals, business cards and websites.

The first one looks better than the second. PM me what you would like, details, and I can see what I can do.

Then do the same as I told him. I used to do a lot of stuff for local bands, and got out of it for awhile. I am looking into having fun with Graphic Design again.

First figure out what you want your logo to do (primarily).

Is it something you want to put other there a lot that is supposed to be instantly recognizable at a short/quick glance? I only ask because the two examples you posted are two different approaches to a logo.

The first one is easily/quickly read and easily remembered&recognized... but isn't that stylish.

The second one is more complex and implies artistic work or close attention to detail, but a person will have to spend more time actually looking at it to figure out what it says and what your company does (its actually a bit hard to read, IMO).

In this case, I prefer the simple one.

the first one is better, but i'd keep trying if i were you.

looks like you want to include that slogan in the logo which is cool. ...um... a look and feel for your business with a timeless symbol that you can keep for its life is the goal right. building it yourself, going blind at it, just keep on building new variations of your logo and let them marinade on ya.

you could also stand over a designer, let them throw something at you, then guide them with changes you want. you would still want to let it sink in til you like it or hate it... because this logo should be your brand forevermore.

    good luck.

I completely agree with both of you. This is why I ask for people to give the most details possible. Free reign is always cool too, but it can get scary.

i have to agree with everyone else. The first logo is better. It gives me the feeling that i would be dealing with a professional. I can easily see it on the side of a work van or on a uniform.

You might want to try incorporating that water droplet into the text. maybe something like this
