Default Anyone with a Canon have...

....one of the super wide Tokina lenses? I've been wanted to get my hands on one to see if its worth picking up for my body or not. Sorry mods if this isn't allowed, just delete it if it isn't.

Nah, I just wanted to see if somebody had one so i could meet em at the V or something to shoot a few frames and seem what the images that comes out of that lense+my camera would be. I'd buy it new if I bought one.

I figured that is what you meant... and I can say that the sigma 10-20 is a bit more popular that the Tokina wide. That being said, I have heard that the Tokina 10-17 fish-eye is a blast to use and gets great reviews (if you want a fish-eye)

I was really looking to find the 11-16mm tokina. On my cropped sensor it won't appear fisheye-like i'm pretty sure

An 11-16mm lens will certainly show distortion... but you can easily correct it in photoshop

It'll show distortion but not on the same level as a full size sensor, and from what i can tell its a pretty decent jump between the two.

i used the sigma 10-20mm on my D90 with no issues. yeah there was some nasty distortion but thats what you get when using a wide angle. ive heard good things about the tokina

read some reviews... it is not like a general wide angle lens that attempts to dodge barrel distortion. It keeps the distortion even on a cropbody http://www.fredmiranda.com/reviews/s...&cat=40&page=1
