    Well I've been procrastinating, I need a 50mm f1.8 lens but its sold out everywhere

    If there is a way I can rent or buy one off of anyone that has one here plz let me know I need it for this week I'm going out of town...

    Just go to Amazon.com and have one shipped to you on the quick... but I'd go with the 1.4 for $230 more... or, if you are taking portraits, the 85mm 1.8 which goes for around $380 is superior than both 50mms mentioned (you just have to make sure you have enough room to use it).
