Just bought a camera.

It's a Canon PowerShot 10.0-Megapixel Digital Camera.

My beautiful and wondeful daughter.

Oh yea 2 more of me eating, my wife took those.. By far the best point and shoot camera I have owned.

A point and shoot that costs 300-400 will be worlds better than any DSLR that could ever be bought for the same price*** in unskilled hands***.

The Point and Shoot does all the work and is a much better selection for person who does not understand or have time to fiddle with their settings...

Put a low level DSLR with a kit-lens on full auto up against this Point and Shoot and the point and shoot will perform better. There is no denying that low-light performance, zoom, and macro characteristics, you just can't get with a DSLR for the cost.

Get out there, take some pictures and work on knowing your camera. Show us what you got!

I paid $250 for it with a 8g memory card included.

Best Buy employee's sure are easy to haggle.

Looks like it gets the job done. Good pics.

zoom in a tad (and step back) to get rid of that distortion.

The flower (macro setting) will enable you to get really close up shots of small stuff... once again zome in.

Get used to playing with enabling/disabling your flash.
