the thought of using that for a professional wedding shoot is crazy. damn
i just came here to post this. pretty fucking funny that the judge knows more about photography than the woman.
what is the going rate for a cheap wedding? hate to be the one that says you get what you pay for, but seriously.

Judge Joe Brown is a pimp. His audience is full of hot girls..
To be fair, I recently shot a wedding in Fairburn where I wasn't allowed to use flash photography or shoot on the floor at all during the wedding.
I explained to the couple the limitations that those rules would present, and what they could expect from a wedding being shot in the balcony with a zoom lens so they weren't surprised by the results.
I totally understand what you're saying, but this is something that you as the photographer should know ahead of time. Preachers don't decide the day of the wedding if they allow flash or not. Some absolutely hate it, others don't care. I've shot both.
BTW, you can absolutely shoot a wedding with an XT. Catch is you have to have more than just the XT.This woman shot with a KIT LENS?????
It was pretty cool that Judge Brown knew more about photography than the "photographer". The photographer should've picked up on that when she was asked "what F stop" she was shooting in......dur dur.

I did know that ahead of time, which is why I was able to explain to the couple what they should expect in regards to the rules established, and show them some test shots of the lighting. Thus everything came out as expected, and I had a happy client.
But then again, I know what an f-stop is, and how a faster lens would be useful in that situation, as opposed to the idiots in the video.
i agree. i shot my little sisters wedding and i went a week before to see 1st hand how the lighting was in the church because i couldnt use any flash photography. so i took my camera and took some test shots to see what i could get away with.
the camera gear has nothing to do with this IMO....the person using that gear is an idiot....she didnt even know what f/stop meant.
Haha a kit lens and the $200 70-300 best buy cheap-o. She has no L lenses, nothing faster than f/3.5 (at 18 mm) and a burst slow burst rate. Coupled with the fact that she doesn't know the science behind photography (f stops, etc.) She probably assumed that any DSLR even on auto is a "professional" shot. I mean, you could squeeze some good results out of that gear if you know what you're doing, but in terms of gear that is some of the cheapest you can throw on the body and the light limitations would even be effecting a good professional. "Could you hold the kiss without moving at all fr at least half a second, I am maxing out at f/5.6 here on ISO 800 at 55mm, and it still gives me a 1/30th shutter speed even if I do -1 EV compensation."
^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle
