Yea, I had a German-Shepard for 14 years and he lived to be 15. Since then the only animals I've had are two cats that are my girlfriends.

I had a friend back in grade school that had two dachshunds. They were also obsessed with the dot from laser pointers. Good dogs, though. Nice choice.
UGA: Everybody is laughing at us this year.
Mine is, too. I had one for my cat, but she never played around much. But this dog knows exactly where the laser pointer hangs and if you reach for your keys, he thinks you're going for it and will run around excitedly and look all over the ground for it. Also, if a reflection from a car shines into the house, he'll see it and try chasing it for the brief second it's there.

cool dog, Im a big fan of them. I have a friend who has one that weighs about 30 pounds. His stomach drags the ground when he walks and when he climbs the steps in their split foyer home he has to take several breaks. He has some kind of sickness that makes him that big.
