nice, what lens are you shooting with? i sold my sigma 24-70 for a sigma 70-200 but sent it back because it would not take a sharp picture for shit. i have a nikon 17-55 2.8 now.
just a cheap-o Nikkor 18-135 f/3.5-5.6. if it's bright outside, that lens is THE SHIT. but it falls on its face w/o the extra f/ inside or when it's dark. i'm thinking about trying to get a tokina 11-16 f/2.8. idk. i don't really see the use of a 70-200. yes it can produce very crispy zoom shots if it's 2.8, but they're not very diverse. i find myself needing the 18 A LOT. saves a lot of lens swapping. but that's just me.Originally Posted by boostedb16

its pretty nice. my boss sold two of them and i bought one of them. i was going to get another sigma but i was talking to this local photographer the other day. we was talking about third party lens vs nikkor. he said something to me that has stuck in my head. he said "the only reason he buys nikkor is because if you look around at the people making real money at this, they have nikkor lens". i thought for two days about what to buy. i talked to my boss yesterday and he still had one, so i went that direction.

Hey Justin have you been shooting Raws, or you doing highest Jpegs?
Nah i NEVER shoot raw. some people swear by it, but i tried it once and it was disastrous. i've never had a problem with my JPEGS so that's what i've been going with.
Good deal. Yeah I shot raws for a while and hated it, was just seeing if you were keeping raws, but guess you hated it as much as i did.
you should only be shooting raw.
