    Default Railroad Pictures

this time they are resized to something a bit smaller lol hopefully this works out.

if it is still too big let me know i can resize smaller

i went on a walk to a local rail road and just got down low in the tracks (trains usually come through here a bout 3-4 times a day/night)

and also walking through the woods to get to the tracks i snapped a nice pic of the trees that i liked.

what do you mean Dutch? i didnt really use selective color at least not on purpose, i just used Light room to reduce the vibrance so i could get kind of a black and white look but with a little color. I am still searching for what it is that i love to shoot these days.

incredibly tilted photos to add dramatic or other effect. You see it all the time in the car pics section, and in car magazines...note: not high end car magazines. but anyways,

not so much on the JDM angles i'd say (which seems to be the consensus)

last shot is pretty sweet though.

    The angled shots suck. Bad.

The one above rocks, though. The only good one out of the bunch. Good job on that. Later, QD.

fair enough, looks like photography is really highly opinionated as some of the angled shots were loved by many people over on flickr and were chosen to be part of several groups.

point take, at this point still learning what works and what doesnt.

thanks to all for the comments!

without a doubt! taking photography classes is a humbling experience. you are out to please only one person, the teacher. No matter how much you love your work, and how many of your peers may or may not love your work, its all up to the teacher. but, what you must realize is that you should make work that pleases you and screw everyone else. Take criticism as a grain of salt and continue doing what you do, otherwise you will just lose all motivation to progress. so with that said, keep up the work.

I'm sure you know that you're not going to please everyone lolol. I have always loathed angle shots. From cars to whatever. I like to just look at it head on without tilting my head to see it.
I have a similar shot to #2 that I took a couple of years ago. Only this track crossed over a river about 300 below it. It's below. First pic is a side shot of and the second is me on it. Later, QD.
