1. Turn the ISO down. I rarely ever crank the ISO up on a shot like this unless im wanting to pull in some of the background.
2. With the flash you can crank up the aperture. f1.8 is probably going to be a little soft (in which it does look a little to me), with the use of the flash you can easily use the sharper aperture speeds.
3. Youve got contrast and saturation set to high. If you shoot in RAW, I would keep on camera adjustments to a minimum and leave that to post processing.
If I remember , you told me you got my old 50mm from my Nikon days. Its a good copy of that lens for sure, at the time I tried to buy it back lol I returned 2 copies before I found that one with a good IQ and reasonably sharp!
