Default √ New logo/Portrait CC needed!

Alright well this was done with just a SB-600 and standing in the living room with the lights off lol. Any pointers on using the flash (which I'm borrowing from my best friend Bandy lol) would be handy. And any ideas on what I could do with the logo to make it less cheesy would be nice. Anyway... here's the pic:

    1. Take every picture with that subject.
    2. Incorporate J-Moo in you logo
    3. Make sure to have that subject on call for all shoots.

    1. Turn the ISO down. I rarely ever crank the ISO up on a shot like this unless im wanting to pull in some of the background.

    2. With the flash you can crank up the aperture. f1.8 is probably going to be a little soft (in which it does look a little to me), with the use of the flash you can easily use the sharper aperture speeds.

    3. Youve got contrast and saturation set to high. If you shoot in RAW, I would keep on camera adjustments to a minimum and leave that to post processing.

If I remember , you told me you got my old 50mm from my Nikon days. Its a good copy of that lens for sure, at the time I tried to buy it back lol I returned 2 copies before I found that one with a good IQ and reasonably sharp!

Btw, your lady is pretty! Great photo!

The logo is too big and obnoxious. if you're gonna be "mr clean", make the logo exactly that -- simple and cleeeeeeean

I have no other input, being that i'm not in the super cool photographer club. lulz

yeah the logo is def. too big right now, i understand that. i just kept it that size so it could be seen easily. i need a designer to help me make it a little schnazzier lol.

Everyone else pretty much said what I was gonna say. You dont have to shoot at 1.8 though. Even if you're trying to throw the background out, I would only stop to 2.8, and that would be good enough to separate your subject from the background
