looks a tad off to me, may just be me though.
Never use your pop-up flash with this lens
the only reason the pop up flash was out was to simulate anything my mom might have tried with the lens...but now that I look at the first 2 pictures and the pictures of the dog I think I might see what you are talking about....tomorrow I will take both cameras out and test the lens out again. I know we have had problems with the XTi focusing but never the 50D

its a tokina 12-24
i have read that with this lens the clarity is fairly soft at f4, but starts to sharpen up around f5.6+
maybe I will shoot tomorrow around f6 all day and see what I get with it
if you're gonna shoot a landscape, go f/8 or more, especially if its sunny like that outside. unless you got some kinda foreground you wanna separate
